Nazara's Fusebox Games to Develop Bigg Boss Video Game
Nazara Technologies' subsidiary Fusebox Games has partnered with Banijay Rights to create a Bigg Boss Interactive Fiction Game, scheduled for release in 2025, the companies announced. The game will allow players to create avatars, navigate storylines inspired by the reality show, and participate in live events synchronized with the television series. It will include localized content in Hindi and regional languages to cater to India's diverse audience.
“Bigg Boss is a cultural phenomenon that resonates deeply across India. At Fusebox Games, we are excited to reimagine this iconic format as an immersive, interactive experience that fans can engage with in entirely new ways," said Terry Lee, CEO of Fusebox Games. Mark Woollard, SVP at Banijay Rights, said the partnership offers new ways for fans to engage with the brand.
Fusebox Games is also simultaneously working on the Big Brother Interactive Fiction Game, based on the global reality TV format, set to launch in 2025.
Evo 2025 Unveils Game Lineup, Announces Changes
The Evolution Championship Series (Evo) has revealed its 2025 lineup, scheduled for August 1-3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The main tournament will feature Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, and Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, alongside the return of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 for its 10th Evo appearance.
Additional games include Rivals of Aether II, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O., and The King of Fighters XV, with an expanded tournament lineup to cater to a broader audience. Evo organizers are reintroducing the Top 8 finals format and addressing past concerns with enhanced venue logistics, including improved seating and scheduling.
The event will also feature an expanded arcade area, community events, and hands-on opportunities with unreleased games. Registration for competitors is now open at evo.gg, with spectator tickets available from February 15.
