Bollywood Star Akshay Kumar Unveils FAU-G Domination Trailer and Kicks Off Pre-Registrations
FAU-G Domination, an upcoming game developed by Dot9 Games and nCore Games, published by Nazara has revealed its gameplay trailer while announcing that players can now pre-register for the game on Google Play. The announcements were made by Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, along with Nazara’s Nitish Mittersain and nCore Games’ Vishal Gondal at a launch event in Mumbai. Interestingly, the actor revealed that the name “FAU-G” was coined by him in a conversation with Gondal about building a made-in-India game that could redefine the country’s games industry. In celebration of this launch, Nitish Mittersain announced that Nazara Publishing will be donating an amount of INR 25 lakh to the Bharat Ke Veer trust - a fundraising initiative for the families of martyred Indian army soldiers.

Minecraft Movie Trailer Releases to Mixed Reactions
Warner Bros. has released the trailer for the Minecraft movie featuring actors Jason Momoa and Jack Black. Fans were hoping for movie that would be more in-line with the game’s visuals rather than a live action and took to social media and forums to voice their concerns. Among other scathing reviews, Forbes’ choice of the word “horrifying” to describe the trailer really stands out. Netflix’s League of Legends Arcane Season 2 Trailer Revealed
The trailer for the second (and final) season of the smash hit League of Legends series Arcane has been revealed. The show is set to air on Netflix this November. Season one earned four Primetime Emmy Awards including Outstanding Animated Program – the first streaming series to win Outstanding Animated Program. The series swept the 2022 Annie Awards with wins in Nine categories including Best TV/Media, Best Writing, Best Voice Acting (Ella Purnell), Best Direction, Best Production Design, Best Character Animation, Best Storyboarding, Best Character Design and Best FX. The series was also recognized by the gaming community winning Best Adaptation at The Game Awards (2022). In addition, the Arcane album was nominated for a 2022 Billboard Music Award for Top Soundtrack.

Day 1 of The International Group Stages have clocked over 7 million views on YouTube and Twitch alone. According to Esports Charts, peak viewership touched over 487K while average viewers hovered around 348K. The main event is set to begin on September 8th in Copenhagen, Denmark and will almost certainly exceed these numbers. Last year, viewership for the tournament peaked at over 1.4 million with an average viewership of 541K.
Astro Bot Branding Spotted on Mumbai Metros
Gamers commuting on the Mumbai Metro were treated to a pleasant surprise when Astro Bot banners and branding were spotted on and inside a train. Astro Bot is Sony’s new platformer game launching today (6th September). Despite the hefty price tag of INR 3,999, it looks like Sony Interactive Entertainment is pulling out the stops to promote the game in India - a much appreciated gesture for PlayStation fans in the country.
Indus Battle Royale Introduces New 'Grudge' Feature
Supergaming - the developers of Indus Battle Royale have revealed a brand new 'Grudge' feature for their game. Players can assume the role of a Hunter or a Defender. Hunters receive various assists to track and engage their target such as a notification when their target ejects from the flight. Meanwhile Defenders receive alerts that signal the proximity of the Hunter. This feature acknowledges and enables many of the mini-rivalries that develop in competitive multiplayer games making them more engaging.
