Kiyotaka Returns to 9Pandas After Trying Out L1ga Team

In a surprising turn of events, Gleb “kiyotaka” Zyryanov rejoins 9Pandas after leaving the team less than 2 weeks ago. kiyotaka left 9Pandas on 5th January to join the newly formed L1ga team which included his former teammate, Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev. After failing to find success with his new team at the BetBoom Dacha 2024 qualifiers and DreamLeague Season 22 qualifiers, kiyotaka is back to 9Pandas to complete its roster. During kiyotaka’s absence, 9Pandas played the DreamLeague Season 22 with Aleksey "Ainkrad" Diveevskiy as the stand-in.

9Pandas Roster Complete Once Again

We're happy to welcome kiyotaka back to 9Pandas. It wasn't long we've been apart, but we missed our favorite booster.” 9Pandas tweeted as it welcomed back its mid-laner after a brief leave from the team. With kiyotaka back amongst its ranks once again, 9Pandas is ready for the upcoming ESL One Birmingham qualifiers, the roster now includes:

  • Mikhail “Darklord^” Blinov

  • Gleb "kiyotaka" Zyryanov

  • Albert "alberkaaa" Chernoivanov

  • Vladislav "Antares" Kertman

  • Alexey "Solo" Berezin

9Pandas also took this opportunity to thank Ainkrad for his assistance towards the team as a stand-in. It wrote “We'd also like to share our gratitude to Ainkrad for the decent game in the debuting matches after the reshuffle. See you soon at the main events of this year!

During kiyotaka’s time with the L1ga team, the team participated in qualifiers for two tournaments – DreamLeague Season 22 qualifiers and BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai qualifiers.

L1ga team found no success at the DreamLeague Season 22 as it was knocked down to the lower bracket by Nemiga Gaming in a 0-2 series and then was ironically knocked out by 9Pandas in the lower bracket in a 1-2 series.

However, the team played relatively well during the BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai qualifiers. L1ga Team managed to reach the final series of the qualifiers against Virtus.pro after beating Klim Sani4 in the lower bracket finals, but the team was no match for the formidable Virtus.pro as it secured its spot at the main tournament with a clean sweep in the final series.

9Pandas seems to be motivated to participate in many tournaments this year as it said in its tweet, we can expect this roster to play at the ESL One Birmingham qualifiers which is slated to kick off on 22nd January.
