Team Falcons Clean Sweeps PSG Quest to Qualify for DreamLeague Season 22

In the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) qualifiers held in the past few weeks for upcoming Dota 2 tournaments, Team Falcons and PSG Quest have tussled and it has been the former that has emerged as the winner. In the recently concluded DreamLeague Season 22: MENA (Middle East and North Africa) Closed Qualifier, Team Falcons defeated PSG Quest 3-0 in the grand final and qualified for the main event. Aside from the second game, which was quite competitive, Falcons showcased swift maneuvers in the other two games, leaving PSG Quest to lag considerably and eventually lose. Stanislav "Malr1ne" Potorak proved to be a formidable force throughout the series for Falcons, boasting an impressive combined KDA of 49-7-47 across the three games.

Team Falcons vs PSG Quest: Match recap and highlights

Recap

Game 1 saw Falcons take up Weaver and Void Spirit as the two cores, with ATF on Magnus in the offlane versus PSG Quest's lineup, which did not appear to be strong in dealing with evasive heroes. Following a sluggish laning phase, Falcons exploited its maneuvering ability to eliminate opponent heroes. PSG Quest's draft also struggled at playing from behind, and the first game resulted in a 42 minute loss. Neither Weaver nor Void Spirit died once during the game.

Game 2 between the two teams was significantly more combative. While No!ob was slain three times in the midlane, skiter experienced the same fate playing for Falcons in the carry lane. With a couple of kills on Malr1ne and continued pressure on skiter, PSG Quest opened up an 11k advantage in 27 minutes. This is when the Falcons demonstrated flawless target prioritization in teamfights to dramatically change the game, steadily developing a lead with Malr1ne leading the way on Razor, and winning in 63 minutes.

Game 3 saw little action in the early going, but Malr1ne stole the show with another great Razor performance. With the help of the supports, he was relentless in his rotations to kill the opposing carry and take up any collateral damage along the road. There was some optimism for PSG Quest with mid Zeus holding the game long enough for the other cores to emerge, but Falcons shut the hero by ganking him as well and winning in 31 minutes.
