Day 2 of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 has concluded and upcoming teams dominated the day. AutoBotz Esports, MICI Esports and CS Esports are some of the teams which dominated Day 2.
Few seasoned teams like Numen Gaming, OR Esports and Enigma Gaming had a below average day. Team Soul and Blind Esports who are placed in the middle of the table were able to put forth a good performance.
BGIS 2023 Semi Finals Day 2 Match Summary
Match 1 Erangel (Groups A vs D): AutoBotz Esports secured the first chicken dinner of the day with 23 total points. In an intense 3v3 fight against Medal Esports, Orzi from AutoBotz Esports clutched a 1v3 and secured the chicken dinner. Medal Esports was placed second with 19 points. 4 Aggressive Man had good teamwork and got 15 points. Gods Reign and Revenant Esports secured 14 points each. OR Esports and Enigma Gaming were eliminated early with only a single point.
Match 2 Miramar (Groups B vs D): Brave Esports, an upcoming team, grabbed the chicken dinner on the map of Miramar. It was able to get 27 total points including 12 finish points. GlitchxReborn was placed second with 18 points to its name. Team X Spark had a good balance of finish and placement points and secured 15 points. Enigma Gaming and TWM Gaming got 12 and 11 points respectively. Marcos Gaming was eliminated early with zero points.
Match 3 Sanhok (Groups C vs D): CS Esports dominated the map of Sanhok as it secured a massive 30 points chicken dinner including 15 finish points. TWM continued its momentum and was placed second with 22 points. Night Owls was eliminated early with 14 points which had 1 placement point and 13 finish points. TitanFTW and MidWave Esports got 12 points each for their efforts. Gods Reign had back to back bad matches and was eliminated with a single point.
Match 4 Vikendi (Groups A vs B): MICI Esports secured the chicken dinner with 20 points. Although MICI Esports took the chicken dinner, Blind Esports took the most points from this match. It was able to secure 30 total points which included 18 finish points. Nakul “Nakul” Sharma and Manpreet “Rony” Singh were the star performers in the match as they secured 8 and 7 finishes respectively. Gladiator Esports continued its good run and got 16 points. GlitchxReborn was the second consistent team and secured 11 points.
Match 5 Miramar (Groups A vs C): Team Insane secured the chicken dinner with 22 points. Team Soul made a comeback and grabbed 18 points as it showed good rotations and teamwork. MICI Esports continued its momentum from the previous match and also got 14 points. Trouble Makerz and Big Brother Esports got 13 and 11 points respectively. Numen Gaming tried a late rotation strategy but was eliminated by Big Brother Esports with zero points.
Match 6 Erangel (Groups B vs C): CS Esports secured its second chicken dinner of the day with 30 points including 15 finish points. Lucknow Giants made a comeback and got 18 points. Team Empire and Midwave Esports also had a good match and secured 17 points each. Team Insane who took the chicken dinner in the last match was eliminated early with a single point.
Day 1 and 2 of the BGIS 2023 Semi Finals belonged to the underdog teams as some of them were able to show their prowess. Experienced teams like Enigma Gaming, OR Esports and Numen Gaming who had dominated the early stage of BGIS 2023 are on the second half of the points table and will be looking to make a comeback.
