Worlds 2023: All You Need to Know About Worlds Capsule & Drops

The League of Legends World Championship or Worlds is one of the most exciting tournaments to watch. Worlds 2023 is already gearing up to be a sizzling international tournament with a stellar lineup of 22 teams. Set to begin on 10th October with the Play-in stage, Worlds 2023 will span just over a month, concluding only on 19th November.

As usual, drops and rewards are back for League of Legends Worlds 2023 and can be earned by viewers throughout the tournament. Viewers who have logged into the official LoL Esports website and are watching the live broadcast may have a chance to get a loot drop from Riot Games.

Riot Games said, "Worlds has arrived, and we’re excited to share brand new rewards with our players! Worlds is coming to you live from South Korea, the birthplace of esports, so sit back, relax and watch live on LoLEsports.com."

Here's all we know about the exclusive rewards and drops for this year's Worlds.

Worlds 2023 Capsule & Drops

Riot Games stated that this year it is presenting a stylish collection of emotes and icons featuring some of the favorite League of Legends champions and these will be available in the brand new Worlds 2023 Capsule.

The publisher added, "In addition to the new Worlds rewards, we've included the 2023 Esports Capsule into the loot table, allowing fans to catch up on any rewards they may have missed from the Spring and Summer splits!"

From the assets shared by Riot Games, we can see the following champions' emotes:

• Amumu

• Annie

• Ziggs

• Jhin

• Riven

• Gragas

• Vladimir

• Renata Glasc

• Twitch

• Rammus

• Sylas

• Alistar

• Leona

Notably, if a player receives a drop containing an icon or an in-game emote that they already possess, they can simply disenchant the duplicate into Orange Essence. However, the company shall disable re-rolls on the emotes for Worlds 2023 to keep the collecting fairer.

Fans and players will be able to randomly earn a drop while watching matches and during specific moments of the tournament. But make sure to log in to the LoL Esports website using your Riot account.

Some of the examples of drop scenarios are as follows:

• Riot always drops loot when there is a Pentakill, Quadrakill, series going to game give (100% chance)

• The company might drop loot when there is a triple kill (Partial chance)

• Riot Games might also drop loot between games or during opening and closing ceremonies (Partial chance)

• Expect a drop at the beginning of the first game of each stage (Play-In, Groups, etc)

However, fans and viewers must note that drops only occur during the live broadcast of Worlds 2023. One cannot receive drops from watching pre-recorded video on demands (VODs). Also, one must have been streaming the game at least five minutes before these moments to make sure that the drops are not missed.
