Pokemon Go Charged-Up Research Day Event: All You Need To Know

The Pokemon Go Charged-Up Research Day event will go live soon. The event features themed Field Research tasks which will be available at Pokestops. You can complete these tasks to encounter several electric-type Pokemon. There is also Charged-Up-themed Timed Research coming to the event for players to complete. Here is all you need to know about the Pokemon Go Charged-Up Research Day event. 

Pokemon Go Charged-Up Research Day event duration

The Pokemon Go Charged-Up Research Day starts on Sunday, 3rd March, at 2:00 p.m. and will last till 5:00 p.m. local time.

Charged-Up Research Day: Featured Pokemon

Players can complete event-themed Field Research tasks that will be available when you spin Photo Discs at PokeStops. You can complete them to encounter the featured Pokémon. Note that Pokemon marked with a star (*) may appear as Shinies.

• Electrike*

• Blitzle*

• Joltik*

• Helioptile*

Wild encounters

The following Pokemon will appear more frequently in the wild:

• Pikachu*

• Voltorb*

• Plusle*

• Minun*

• Emolga

• Pawmi

Timed Research

For $1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier locally), you’ll be able to access event-exclusive Timed Research. This Timed Research will challenge you to complete Field Research tasks to encounter more of the featured Pokemon of your choice.

• Joltik*

• Helioptile*

Note that Timed Research tasks expire. The tasks associated with Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before Sunday, 3rd March 2024, 5:00 p.m. local time. Players will be able to purchase and gift tickets to any of their Pokemon Go friends that they have achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with. 

Pokemon Go World of Wonders Tickets

Starting on Friday, 1st March, players will be able to purchase the Wonder Ticket for the latest Season of Pokemon Go World of Wonders. The Ticket will be available for $9.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier locally). The Wonder Ticket will give players access to three sets of Timed Research, which leads to Seasonally-themed Pokemon encounters, premium items, and a new avatar item. Players can complete the Timed Research tasks to receive the following:

• Poipole Helmet

• Encounters with Pokemon

• 1 Premium Battle Pass

• 1 Lucky Egg

• 1 Incense

• 1 Star Piece

The Ticket will be available for purchase until Saturday, 1st June 2024, at 9:59 a.m. local time. Players can claim their rewards for completing the Wonder Ticket Timed Research tasks at any point until Friday, 14th June 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
