Yibo Jin, co-CEO of TJ Sports, announced a milestone achievement for Valorant, with the game reaching a peak concurrent user (PCCU) count of 1 million players since its launch in July 2023. The announcement was made at the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2024 China Stage 2 Finals, where Edward Gaming emerged victorious.

According to Niko Partners' China Games & Streaming Tracker, Valorant ranked as the third most-watched game on Chinese livestreaming platforms Huya, DouYu, and Bilibili over the past month. The game's popularity is set to soar even further, as Tencent recently secured a license to launch a mobile version of Valorant in China, potentially broadening its audience and market presence.
