W33 Defends Kuroky Against Haters & Critics

The Dota 2 community is no stranger to heated criticisms and discussions about professional players and their performances. In a recent livestream, Aliwi "w33" Omar, who has returned to Nigma Galaxy as a streamer and content creator, defended his former teammate and captain, Kuro "Kuroky" Takhasomi.

Addressing the countless ongoing criticisms aimed at Kuroky by fans and haters of the team, w33 talked about how Kuroky does do certain things that help him improve at the game.

W33's Stand: Supporting Kuroky's Pub Games

During the livestream, w33 directly confronted the negative narrative surrounding Kuroky's gameplay and pub activities. He made it clear that Kuroky is an avid pub player, contrary to what some haters might claim.

“Kuro is playing pubs. He always plays pubs. I guess he doesn’t do it all the time but he always plays pubs. Just people don’t really know sh*t so they just talk,”  he said.

He further asserted that the public perception of Kuroky not playing enough pubs is misguided and based on assumptions rather than facts. As a previous member of Nigma Galaxy w33’s words do hold weight as a teammate of Kuroky.

Nigma Galaxy has faced its fair share of ups and downs in competitive Dota 2, leading to criticism from certain sections of the community. Among the various players on the team, Kuroky often becomes the target of blame for the team's losses, with some critics claiming that he lacks the required skill or fails to put in enough effort to improve his gameplay.

W33's Return and Nigma Galaxy's Aspirations

As announced recently, w33 joined Nigma Galaxy once again, however, this time as a streamer and a content creator. This surprised fans and they are eager to watch how w33 can contribute to the team’s overall success moving forward.

As the Dota 2 community eagerly anticipates Nigma Galaxy's future endeavors, w33's defense of Kuroky serves as a testament to the ability of the player, as well as the respect that he has for other players. Moving forward, the team will be looking at playing through the Western Europe (WEU) qualifiers for The International 12, where they will face some of the toughest competition the world has ever seen.
