To start the quest, players must find the ghost NPC named Yuan Hong in  Mingyun Village located just outside Dragonspine. He is located near a notice board.

After talking to Yuan Hong, players must head south towards a village hut where they will find a “Book of Lost Notes.” Interacting with this item will reveal all four parts of the Will in the map.

Simply head to the quest markers to find the parts needed to complete the Genshin Impact Tree Who Stands Alone quest. Here is a guide on where to find each part;

• First Will: To locate the initial Will, venture south of the hut and discover it inside a cave adjacent to a pond. This cave is protected by a hilichurl and some explosive barrels that can be detonated to access the mine. Once inside, you will find the will, a luxurious chest, and a few other valuable resources.

• Second Will: Progress towards the east of the village, where another cave awaits. In the vicinity, there is an Exquisite Chest guarded by three hilichurls. After unlocking the chest, enter the cave to uncover the second will and discover some rare resources.

• Third Will: Situated on a mountain in the northern region of the village, you'll find another cave inhabited by a hilichurl and three geo slimes that need to be defeated. Alternatively, if you possess a water astrologer maid or can traverse through the water, you may avoid the confrontation altogether.

• Fourth Will: The fourth Will lies within a cave to the west, featuring two entrances that are heavily guarded. Overcome these obstacles, acquire the final will, and unveil the hidden treasure.

After acquiring all pieces, players must then proceed to find a tree that is marked south of where the fourth Will is found. There will be enemies nearby so players must bring their strongest characters with them.
