The 2022 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) hosted its awards-giving ceremony on 22nd December. The 2022 LCK Awards had over 25 categories and featured prizes including player of the year, rookie of the year, and a special achievement award for the ten LCK years. The winners of some of the categories at the 2022 LCK awards were already known to the public since they were announced then and there at the end of the Spring and Summer seasons. However, the other category winners were announced at the event. According to Inven Global, players of the year by position were awarded 2 Million Korean Won (KRW) while the player of the year winner received 5 Million KRW.
Here are the winners of the 2022 LCK Awards.
LCK 10-Year Anniversary Achievement Award
Jeon “Caster Jun” Yong-jun won the iconic 10-year anniversary achievement award at the 2022 LCK Awards ceremony. He is not only famous in the Korean league but is a fan favorite across the globe, thanks to the energy and vigor he brings to the stage while hosting events.
Player of the Year & Mid-laner of the Year - Zeka
Kim “Zeka” Geon-woo was awarded the prestigious ‘Player of the Year’ at the 2022 LCK Awards. He was a part of the Worlds winning DRX line-up. Notably, he was also the recipient of the Best Mid-Laner award at the ceremony. Additionally, Zeka is the only DRX member from the 2022 lineup to receive awards.
2022 LCK Awards: Rookie of the Year - VicLa
Lee “VicLa” Dae-kwang won the ‘Rookie of the Year’ award at the ceremony. He was the mid-laner for KT Rolster and in the off-season, VicLa decided to move to North America. He will be representing FlyQuest in 2023.

Interestingly, there was an award category called ‘Sorry I Pictured You as Bald’ based on the LCK thumbnails that was given out at the ceremony. T1’s Oner received this quirky award.
