Gorgc is Surprised to See Arkosh Gaming Fail to Qualify to NA DPC

In a recent livestream, Team Bald Reborn’s captain Janne "Gorgc" Stefanovski gave his thoughts on Arkosh Gaming not being able to qualify for the second division of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) 2023 North America (NA) Winter Tour. Similar to Old G in a way, Arkosh Gaming is a team that was created by Dota 2 personality Jake "SirActionSlacks" Kanner.

While the team had marginal success within the NA region, the team was recently eliminated from Division II of the NA DPC itself in the 2021/2022 DPC season. Additionally, the team underwent a full rebuild during the off-season.

Gorgc was surprised to see Arkosh Gaming struggle to qualify in NA

During a recent livestream, popular Dota 2 livestreamer and Team Bald Reborn’s captain Janne "Gorgc" Stefanovski gave his thoughts on Arkosh Gaming not being able to qualify for the second division of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) 2023 North America (NA) Winter Tour despite the region being one of the easiest to qualify for in his own opinion.

While he was surprised to see that the team was not able to qualify for Division II at first, he then pointed out that the players within Arkosh Gaming might have felt too cocky in their abilities during the Closed Qualifiers. Additionally, he also pointed out that some of Arkosh’s players have not been playing competitively in the past few months.

“The thing about Arkosh not qualifying is that I think that the players are too cocky going into the qualifiers. They could have been like ‘Dude, this is going to be so easy to qualify,’ but then they realized that they have not played competitively in the past few months or years and they’re just not that good anymore. It is what it is.”

Gorgc then said that Arkosh Gaming were unlucky to qualify despite having a decent roster with players such as former Team Liquid mid laner Max "qojqva" Bröcker and former TNC Predator support Kim "Febby" Yong-min in the mix, as the team could have easily qualified for Division II in the NA region.

The Closed Qualifiers in the NA region have recently concluded, with Brian "BSJ" Canavan’s Fart Studios stack & Legacy securing their own Division II slots for the upcoming Winter Tour. As for Arkosh, they will have to wait until the conclusion of the DPC 2023 NA Winter Tour if they want another attempt at qualifying for Division II.
