Network Provider Part 1 Quest in Escape From Tarkov Explained

Network Provider Part 1 Quest in Escape from Tarkov is given by trader Sergey Arsenyevich Samoylov also known by his alias "Mechanic."  This is one of the relatively harder quests to do in Escape from Tarkov since the players need to have done a whole checklist of tasks before doing this. A total of 13 quests and a particular Scav reputation are required to take on the Network Provider Part 1 Quest. Notably, this pick-up Mechanic quest needs you to hand over a number of items needed to assemble a signal transmitter.

The prerequisites for this task are as follows:

• Scav karma of at least +2

• Must complete:

When you meet the Mechanic he says he wants to get in touch with the trader at the Lighthouse and that he does not like to leave his place. The problem, according to him, is that the radio signal does not reach the Lighthouse from his location. 

He says, “Hello, friend. I guess you've heard about the trader at the Lighthouse. I've got a little ambition, so to speak... I want to get in touch with him personally. No, it's still a long way to go before we meet face-to-face. And I don't like to leave my lair, honestly. There's a problem: the radio signal can't reach the lighthouse from here. Can you find the parts so I can put together a signal transmitter?”

The quest objectives are as follows:

• Hand over 4 Electronic components found in the raid

• Hand over 4 Military COFDM Wireless Signal Transmitters (found in raids)

• Hand over 4 Gas analyzers (found in raids)

• Hand over 4 Broken GPhone smartphones (from raid)

You cannot buy these components since they need to be specifically found in raids.

Once you give these items to the Mechanic, he will give you the rewards. An hour after completing part 1 of this quest, part 2 of this quest will automatically unlock.

The rewards are as follows:

• +18,600 EXP

• Mechanic Rep +0.01
