Valorant Challengers League South Asia Announced With Over 1.1 Crore Prize Pool

The time has come for the South Asian region to rejoice, as it finally receives an exclusive Valorant league to compete in. This has been made possible following a strategic two-year partnership between NODWIN Gaming and Riot Games, joining hands to host the highly anticipated Valorant Challengers League South Asia.

This league will run on an annual basis for a duration of seven months from January till July. The current inaugural year will be an exception with the event scheduled to start from March 2023 onwards, carrying a total prize pool of $140,000 USD (INR 1,15,74,859).

NODWIN Gaming and Riot Games have come together to host the Valorant Challengers League South Asia

When it comes to Valorant in South Asia, 2023 has started on a huge high. First, Global Esports and S8UL Esports came together to develop the Valorant ecosystem in India. Now, NODWIN Gaming and Riot Games have entered into a strategic two year partnership to host the Valorant Challengers League South Asia.

Not only will the two bring this event to life, they will also work hand-in-hand to exclusively monetize the Valorant Challenger League in South Asia for Sponsorship and Media Rights.

Valorant Challengers League South Asia is scheduled to start from the first week of March 2023, featuring some of the best teams and athletes from the region who will compete against each other for a total prize pool of more than 1.1 Crore.

In addition to this, the winner will also qualify to play in the Asia Pacific (APAC) Valorant Asencion tournament, where the top teams from ten different Challengers League from across the Asia-Pacific region will compete for a slot in the VCT 2024: Pacific League.

The higly anticipated exclusive Valorant league for the South Asian region is finally here. This has given a huge boost to the regional teams, marking a path for them to reach the highest tier of competitive Valorant without necessarily being a partnered team.
