Pakazs Names His Top Five Dota 2 Carry Players

BOOM Esports’ Crhistian "Pakazs" Savina has climbed through the ranks of carry Dota 2 players in the last year, demonstrating a high degree of consistency and execution. While his popularity grows, Pakazs shared the names of his top five carry players in competitive Dota 2 in a video released by BOOM Esports. It is unclear if Pakazs ranked these players chronologically from rank one to five, however, among the listed names, some are a regular occurrence in such rankings like Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi, while others, such as Michael "miCKe" Vu and Anton "dyrachyo" Shkredov, are less commonly featured in such compilations given their relatively recent ascent in the carry role.

Pakazs names Miracle-, Yatoro, dyrachyo, miCKe, and Arteezy in his top five Dota 2 carry list

The following five players made Pakazs' list of top five Dota 2 carry players.

  • Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi

  • Illya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk

  • Anton "dyrachyo" Shkredov

  • Michael "miCKe" Vu

  • Artour "Arteezy" Babaev

Miracle- stands out as one of the game's influential players, well-known for his time with Team Liquid and OG. Meanwhile, Yatoro has made significant contributions to the Dota 2 scene over the past three years, winning two TIs during this time. Dyrachyo gained prominence in 2023, contributing to Gaimin Gladiators' win in six tier one events.

As a versatile player, MiCKe has smoothly transitioned from midlane to carry for Team Liquid, which has been key to maintaining top tier performances. Arteezy, akin to Miracle-, brings top skill and experience, showcasing a high level of play over the years.

BOOM Esports, which has been shooting a lot of content with its only remaining player, Pakazs, also recently revealed his dream team. He had an amalgamation of the winning Liquid lineup from The International 7 (TI7) and the winning OG lineup from TI8, TI9.

  1. Lasse "MATUMBAMAN" Urpalainen

  2. Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi

  3. Sébastien “Ceb” Debs

  4. Jesse “JerAx” Vainikka

  5. Johan “N0tail” Sundstein

As seen from the dream team, a surprising omission from Pakazs' list of top five carry players was MATUMBAMAN, who occupies the position one role in his dream team.

Meanwhile, Pakazs will be eagerly anticipating the arrival of new teammates to join him on BOOM's roster. Following a rough start, the organization parted ways with four players earlier this month.

Discussions regarding the new roster have been taking place on the organization's Twitter handle for a while now so it should not be long before it is officially revealed.
