Gaimin Gladiators Are Your Berlin Major 2023 Champions

Gaimin Gladiators continued their dominant run in the Dota 2 scene by winning the Berlin Major 2023, dropping 0 games up until the grand finals. Team Liquid, on the other hand, had a rough start to the tournament, losing their first upper-bracket match against OG early on but managed to make it back to the grand finals through an impressive lower-bracket run. Unfortunately for Liquid, they were once again unable to beat Gaimin Gladiators in a grand final, similar to their encounters at the Lima Major 2023 and Dreamleague Season 19. The grand finals was a 3-1 affair, showcasing the highest level of competitive Dota 2 for the fans live at the arena and back at home.

With this win, Gaimin Gladiators have secured enough points to qualify for The International 12, and are the second team to do so, alongside Liquid. The team will be looking to continue its success in the upcoming Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Tour and cement its status as one of the top teams in the scene. In addition to the glory of winning the Berlin Major, Gaimin Gladiators have also won a prize pool of $200,000 USD and 500 DPC points, which will give them a significant boost in the DPC standings.

Gaimin Gladiators has secured its second Major win of the season after winning the Berlin Major 2023 in a close series against Team Liquid. The team's dominant run began at the Lima Major 2023, followed by a win at Dreamleague Season 19, and now the Berlin Major 2023. Gaimin has been unstoppable in these tournaments, losing only one series in Dreamleague Season 19.

The midlane player for Gaimin Gladiators, Quinn "Quinn" Callahan, has been a standout performer at the Berlin Major 2023, playing a crucial role in his team's success, especially on his Leshrac on Game 4 of the series.

On the other hand, Team Liquid has also been performing well this season, winning the DPC Western Europe (WEU) 2023 Tour 1 and Tour 2. However, they have been unable to secure a championship win yet, struggling to overcome Gaimin Gladiators. This loss in the Berlin Major 2023, marks their third consecutive defeat to Gaimin Gladiators at tier 1 tournaments.

Gaimin Gladiators have undoubtedly established themselves as one of the most dominant teams in Dota 2 major tournaments, with their recent win securing them enough DPC points to qualify for The International 12.
