For fans who want some of the OG Street Fighter charm, the latest edition offers players an offer to deck their fighters out in retro outfits. These historical outfits, also called ‘Outfit 2’ in Street Fighter 6 can be unlocked through the World Tour mode in the game. In Street Fighter 6 World Tour, you can form bonds with the fighters by completing quests, sparring with them or talking to them while selecting certain options. You can buy the outfits from the Goods Shop for 50 Fighter Coins (Street Fighter 6’s premium currency) each. Unlocking all the classic outfits will set you back 900 fighter coins, making it a pretty pricey undertaking. Also spending Fighter Coins on these outfits may not be the best option since Capcom has hinted that it might become available through other methods later. 

Outfit 2 in Street Fighter 6 gives 18 returning characters their old looks.

However, if you want to unlock Outfit 2 in Street Fighter 6 for free, you’ll need to increase the bond you have with the master (character) to 100. You can do this by completing side quests, sparring with them and interacting with them. There are 18 World Tour mode Masters in Street Fighter 6, though not all of them can be interacted with immediately. Players will run into most of them as they make their way through the main story, though some can only be encountered through exploration and side quests. So you’ll need to progress through the story and individually unlock the costumes for each character. The story mode for World Tour does not take too long to complete either so you should be able to grind these out fairly easily.

There are a number of things you can do to get to bond level 100 in Street Fighter 6 quicker. You can bring some rare gifts for your masters, including presenting them their favorite items to increase the bond faster. Sparring with the masters every chance you get is also a great way to increase your bond level. Choosing certain dialogues that are likable will earn you more points.
