Genshin Impact has a multiplayer feature where players can invite their friends or join other players’ worlds. However, this feature will not be available for new players as it requires a specific Adventure Rank to unlock.

Players will need to reach Adventure Rank 16 in order to unlock Genshin Impact Multiplayer. However, there are certain limitations to Co-Op mode. A total of four players can fit in one party where they can explore the host’s world or clear Domains for rewards.

Play with friends

• Players can tap on the Paimon icon at the top left side of the screen

• Tap on the “Friends” option

• Tap on the “Request to Join” button at the far right side of the their name

Play with random players

• Tap on the circular icon next to the minimap

• Search for a player’s user ID (UID) or scroll through the given list of random players

Limitations of Genshin Impact Multiplayer

Here are the restrictions that players will encounter while playing Co-Op in Genshin Impact;

• Completing Story Quests

• Spiral Abyss Clearing

• Picking up items in the world

• Opening chests

• Making offerings to a Statue of the Seven

It is also important to note that Genshin Impact does not support cross-play. This means console players will not be able to play with their friends who are playing on Mobile or PC. However, PC players can play with Mobile players.
