xQc's Move Sparks Chain Reaction: Amouranth Follows Suit Joins Kick

In a surprising turn of events, popular Twitch streamer Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa, best known for her ASMR and NSFW Hot Tub streams, has made the decision to join the rival platform Kick. This move comes just a day after Félix “xQc” Lengyel, another top streamer, signed a lucrative non-exclusive deal with Kick worth up to $100 Million USD. Amouranth's departure from Twitch occurred during her seventh stream anniversary celebration, a moment that was intended to commemorate her successful journey on the platform.

Amouranth Starts Streaming on Kick on After Seven Years With Twitch

Known for her ASMR streams and NSFW content that occasionally pushes the boundaries of Twitch’s terms of service, Amouranth has always been amongst the top streamers on Twitch since her rise to prominence. However, she surprised her fans by incorporating "Kick" into the title of her anniversary stream and subsequently left Twitch to stream on Kick. It is currently unclear if Amouranth’s deal with Kick is exclusive and if she will continue streaming on Twitch.

Amouranth's Tweet announcing her decision to join Kick showcases her reading of the recent announcement of xQc's move to Kick. She then reaches out to her agent and inquired about securing a similar deal for herself. The announcement video showcased her contemplating xQc's groundbreaking move, culminating in her packing up her livestream equipment and informing her community that they can now find her broadcasts on Kick.

Interestingly, Amouranth had hinted at the possibility of joining Kick back in March 2023. At the time, she expressed concerns about the uncertainty surrounding Kick's owners and investors, as well as the potential risk of losing her substantial Twitch community if she were to sign an exclusive deal with the new platform.

However, it appears that she is off to a good start on the new platform, debuting to over 11,000 viewers according to Streamscharts

Back in March, Trainwrecks, one of the co-owners of Kick, hinted at an upcoming announcement regarding six significant signings. Referring to these signings as a way to unsettle "Twitch and all of its puppet fuck faces," he alluded to the platform's ambitions. With the recent additions of xQc and now Amouranth, it appears that Kick is rapidly transforming the streaming landscape by attracting some of Twitch's most prominent figures.
