The Indian gaming community is patiently waiting for more information related to the Valorant Challengers League South Asia (VCL SA). This exclusive tournament joins India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bangladesh to the global circuit, providing a massive boost to the overall infrastructure.
Despite uncertainty about how many teams would be qualifying for the main event of VCL SA through its open qualifier, Medal Esports has announced the signing of both Daivik "DcRulz" Chauhan and Vikrant "Hacker" Pujari to bolster its Valorant lineup.
No previous player from the team's active roster has been benched or removed from the team as it expands to a seven player team.
Medal Esports expands Valorant roster with the addition of DcRulz and Hacker
The shuffle mania continues to take place in the South Asian region with teams still building up their respective rosters for the upcoming mega event, VCL 2023: South Asia.
One of the latest moves has been made by Medal Esports with the addition of its seventh player, DcRulz, along with a head coach, Hacker. None of the previous players have been benched or removed at the time of writing this article.
Following these acquisitions, the complete Valorant team of Medal Esports looks as follows,
-
Rishabh "Ezzy" Gupta
-
Tanmay "FOX" Verma
-
Prish "Tricky" Valvani
-
Sameer "godvexy" Sharma
-
Emmanuel "jEEE" Jonathan Buenavidez
-
Oscar "Kakarot" Farin Jr.
-
Daivik "DcRulz" Chauhan
-
Vikrant "Hacker" Pujari - Head Coach
These signings have come despite Medal Esports losing to Anaadi Army in a really close-fought grand final during the open qualifier of VCL SA. During this journey, godvexy had been listed as the substitute player for the organization while other members comprised of the playing five.
It will be interesting to see how the team manages to compete with this extended lineup, either in the VCL SA, if Riot Games allows more teams from the open qualifier to compete in the main event, or other third-party tournaments.
