VCT 2023 Pacific League Format, Schedule, and Prizepool Announced

After an exhilarating VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo, teams from the Asia Pacific region are pulling up their socks to put on a show at the VCT 2023: Pacific League which is scheduled to take place from 25^th March to 28^th May.

The tournament will be featuring a total prize pool of $250,000 USD (INR 2,05,12,225) along with three slots for both the VCT 2023: Masters Tokyo and VALORANT Champions 2023.

Earlier today on 10^th March, Riot Games explained the overall format and schedule of the VCT Pacific 2023 where ten of the best teams from the region will go against each other across several weeks.

VCT 2023 Pacific League: Everything you need to know

Teams from the APAC region are practicing hard and gearing up for the upcoming VCT 2023 Pacific League which will be taking place in Seoul, South Korea. The two shortlisted venues for the event are Sangam Stadium also known as Seoul World Cup Stadium, the second largest stadium in South Korea, and Jangchung Arena, an indoor sporting arena.

Here is everything you need to know about the VCT Pacific 2023.

Out of the 30 franchised teams, the ten that are based out of the Asia Pacific region will go against each other in this tournament.

Schedule and Format

These ten teams will be taking on each other across several weeks on LAN in Seoul, South Korea.

League Play | 25^th March to 16^th May

Playoffs | 19^th to 28^th May

1. The tournament begins with 'League Play' where teams will take on each other in a single round-robin format where every match will feature a best-of-three series.

2. This stage will take place over a period of eight weeks from 25^th March to 16^th May. All matches being played on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

3. Next, the teams will fight hard in the 'Super League' stage of the tournament which consists of five consecutive days of Valorant action. This will finalize the top six teams that advance to the 'Playoffs'.

4. The last stage of this tournament will take place from 19^th to 28^th May. Here, the top six teams will compete in a double-elimination bracket where every match features a best-of-three series, except for the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final, hosting a best-of-five match.

5. The top three teams based on the overall placement will secure a slot for themselves across both VCT 2023: Masters Tokyo and VALORANT Champions 2023.

6. All the remaining teams will get a chance to qualify for the Valorant Champions 2023 through the VCT 2023: Last Chance Qualifier.

VCT 2023 Pacific League - Playoffs Bracket

Prizepool

This tournament features a total prize pool of $250,000 USD but its distribution between the competing teams have not been revealed at this point in time.

Apart from this, the top three teams will qualify for both VCT Masters Tokyo and VCT Champions, while others move ahead to the VCT LCQ.

This is all the information revealed by the tournament organizer till now. The rosters for all the participating teams have not been locked and confirmed because the transfer season is currently underway. It will be interesting to see what changed do the teams undergo before the VCT Pacific 2023.
