The League of Legends: Wild Rift patch 4.1 just recently dropped revealing a ton of exciting new content for players. The preview included a sneak peek at what players can expect in the next ranked season. According to Riot Games, the Wild Rift ranked Season 9 shall kick off in April, featuring a new theme for its exclusive skin reward. Players who are yet to acquire all the rewards in Season 8 still have ample time to play ranked games and unlock the Glorious Crimson Nami skin for free. Players who fail to acquire the exclusive skin can purchase it in the Ranked Shop after the season ends.
Wild Rift Ranked Season 9 Release Date
The Wild Rift Ranked Season 9 shall kick off on 20th April, according to a Twitter post on the official page of the game.
Ranked Season 9 will begin on April 20 at 3:00 AM UTC! There's still time left to make a splash, reach your goals, and grab Glorious Crimson Nami, before S8 ends!

The upcoming season shall feature a new Glorious Armada skin featuring the champion Twisted Fate. This is in line with Riot Games’ plans of changing the ranked skin themes after every four seasons.

This shall be the first in the Glorious Armada skin line with three more to be released in the succeeding seasons.
When does Wild Rift Ranked Season 8 end
Wild Rift Ranked Season 8 is expected to conclude on 19th April, just before Season 9 starts. A countdown timer will show up in the ranked menu when there will be only seven days left before the season ends.
Nonetheless, players still have a lot of time to climb the ranked ladder and unlock all the rewards in terms of Season Rewards and Legendary Rewards. Players should take note that Legendary Rewards can only be unlocked after reaching Diamond tier rank and playing in Legendary Mode.
