Wise Responds to Ribo’s Comment on Blacklist International Losing Its Dominance

Danerie "Wise" Del Rosario commented on veteran pro player CJ "Ribo" Ribo's statement regarding Blacklist International's performance in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines (MPL PH) Season 11. The Hall of Legends inductee mentioned how the Codebreakers had lost their groove and had been defeated by other teams such as Bren Esports, Omega Esports, and the M4 World Champion, ECHO, to which Wise responded jokingly that at least his team had been dominating for quite some time before losing its momentum.

Blacklist International is currently in fourth place on the MPL PH Season 11 regular season leaderboard with six wins and four losses. 

Blacklist International has weakened, says Ribo

Ribo was interviewed by MPL PH Season 11 host Mara Aquino during one of the pre-match interview segments in the tournament's Week 6 live stream. The veteran shared his thoughts on which teams have weakened this season.

“The ones who are at last [place], TNC. But I think Blacklist weakened because back then they were the top one. Now, they got defeated by Bren, Omega, or ECHO,” Ribo explained.

Shortly after Blacklist International scored a clean sweep victory against Omega Esports. Wise was interviewed on stage and shared his response to Ribo’s statement.

“It’s okay, we were dominant for a long time before we got weaker. Also, at least we’re still in MPL,” Wise stated.

Ribo is considered as a GOAT (Greatest of All Time) in the Mobile Legends esports scene. The pro player left Bren Esports and joined various amateur teams with ZOL Esports being the most recent. He also participated in the inaugural Mobile Legends Development League season.

Despite having a seasoned veteran on its roster, ZOL Esports failed to impress the fans and suffered an upsetting 1-10 score in the group stage.

Blacklist International is set to face ONIC PH in the seventh week of the MPL PH Season 11 regular season.
