The first day of the Losers Bracket in the Gamers8 PUBG Global Series 2023 has ended with fan favorites Twisted Minds at the top of the leaderboard. The Expendables and NAVI have also made a comeback from their underwhelming results in the earlier stage of the tournament. Meanwhile, TYLOO looks like they’ve run out of steam with only 8th place after Day 1 considering their domination in the Group Stage. The second day of the Losers Bracket will be played on 16th August to decide the final 8 teams for the Grand Finals of the Gamers8 PUBG Global Series 2023.

Gamers8 PUBG Global Series 2023 Phase 2: Losers Bracket Day 1 Recap
Winners Bracket Match 1 Recap (Miramar)
The first match of the losers bracket saw an unexpected turnup from Sarvem Esports who found a 17-point Chicken Dinner. Twisted Minds also secured their first Top 3 finish of the day with 13 points. Daytrade Gaming, the eventual last-place finishers of day 1 also secured their only top 3 finish of the day.
Winners Bracket Match 2 Recap (Miramar)
NAVI came into this match with an unrivaled thirst and completely took over the game with an astounding 26-point Chicken Dinner. Friendly Fire and 17 Gaming made the rest of the top 3 with 12 and 9 points.
Winners Bracket Match 3 Recap (Taego)
Game PT took a sizeable win on the third match with a 21-point Chicken DInner while NAVI maintained their place in the top 3 with a spectacular 11-kill game securing 17 points even from a third-place finish.
Winners Bracket Match 4 Recap (Erangel)
Not to be outdone by anyone else, Twisted Minds also showed up to the first match of Erangel taking a stunning 25-point Chicken Dinner. Forest Gaming and 4AM come in second and third place with 8 and 12 points respectively.
Winners Bracket Match 5 Recap (Erangel)
Despite their slow start, The Expendables showed good form in the last two matches and in match 5 took a decisive victory with a 21-point Chicken Dinner. Petrichor Road and 17 Gaming also made the top 3 with 14 and 12 points.
Winners Bracket Match 6 Recap (Erangel)
The Expendables clinched a second victory on the final map with a 22 point finish to end the day in second place behind Twisted Minds. 17 Gaming once again made the top 3 with a second-place finish and EArena reached the top 3 for the first time with 13 points.
Twisted Minds, The Expendables, and NAVI are the current top 3 of the Losers Bracket after Day 1 and they will look to carry this momentum forward into the second day where they will look to secure a place for themselves in the Grand Finals of the Gamers8 PUBG Global Series 2023.
