The League of Legends EMEA [Europe, Middle East & Africa] Championship 2023 Season Finals is the culmination of the 2023 LEC season which was filled with ups and downs for many teams. This is notably the first season finals after the league's format was changed at the start of the year.
The competitive year was divided into three six-week splits, namely Winter, Spring, and Summer and the culmination of the year is the LEC Season Finals. The top six teams from across the competitive season will fight for the championship in a double elimination bracket and qualification to Worlds 2023.
The champions of each respective Split earned a spot in the Season Finals. The remaining places were decided by championship points accrued from regular season finishes throughout the year.

A Guide to LEC 2023 Season Finals
Following G2 Esports’ victory over Excel Esports in the LEC 2023 Summer Final, the six finalists were locked in for the LEC 2023 Season Finals, which kicked off on 19th August at the LEC studio in Berlin, Germany.
The six finalists will compete in a best-of-five (BO5) elimination bracket culminating in the LEC Season Finals roadshow which will take place in Montpellier, in the Occitanie region.

This includes the Winter, Spring, and Summer Split champions

The other three are the top three teams in Championship Points (apart from the already qualified teams)

The seeding is determined by Championship Points

The first seed chooses between the 3rd and the 4th seed as their Round 1 opponent

The 5th seed will play against the lower seed from the upper bracket Round 1 losers, while the sixth seeded team will take on the higher seed

The top three teams qualify for the Worlds 2023

The fourth-placed team qualifies for the Worlds 2023 Qualifying Series against a North American team
