The Gamers8 Festival is back in 2023 and is already in full swing with events like the Dota 2 Riyadh Masters and the FIFAe World Cup having already concluded. Next on the list is the Gamers8 Starcraft Legends 2023 which will take place from 3rd to 6th August. The event will feature a prize pool of $400,000 USD making it the largest in recent history for the age-old classic. Group Stage - 3rd and 4th August

The tournament follows a structured format comprising two main stages. In the Group Stage, the 16 participating players are grouped together into a single group, where they engage in intense competition. The format employed is a Pseudo-Swiss system, ensuring a balanced and fair progression. Each match within this stage is a Best of 3 (Bo3) encounter, challenging participants to demonstrate their skill and adaptability. The top 8 performers from this stage secure their places in the subsequent Playoffs.

Playoffs - 5th and 6th August

The Playoffs feature an exclusive bracket of 8 players, embracing a single-elimination framework. In this high-stakes phase, every match escalates to Best of 5 (Bo5), further testing the contenders' strategic prowess and endurance. The climactic Finals raise the stakes even higher, adopting a Best of 7 (Bo7) format, providing an ultimate showcase of skill and determination as the top players vie for victory.

• Group Stages:  4.30 PM IST/4:00 AM PT/6:00 AM CT

• Playoffs:  5.30 PM IST/5:00 AM PT/7:00 AM CT

We will update the schedule for the top eight players after they are seeded for the playoffs.
