Blacklist International and Team Lunatix have officially confirmed their collaboration for the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Development League Philippines (MDL PH) Season 2. This was following a rumor that the two esports organizations were joining forces to form an amateur team. The team roster of Blacklist International and Team Lunatix for the upcoming MDL PH Season 2 is yet to be revealed. However, the roster reveal is expected to be announced some time in the middle of August 2023.

Through a Facebook post, both Blacklist International and Team Lunatix announced that they are forming a team together for the upcoming MDL PH Season 2.
According to Blacklist International, this collaboration will pave the way for more aspiring talents in the Mobile Legends esports scene to showcase their skills.
“When we created Blacklist Academy, we envisioned a platform to shine a light on up-and-coming players and orgs in the esports space. We believe that Lunatix is a great fit for this goal as we work with the MDL to help develop rising talent and lend a hand in building a more sustainable esports landscape for everyone,” it captioned.
On top of helping Blacklist International cultivate more amateur players into potential young prodigies, this collaboration will also provide support for Team Lunatix to enter the PH Mobile Legends esports scene.
Blacklist International’s CEO (Chief Executive Officer), Tryke Gutierrez, also shared the same goal in one of his vlogs. According to him, both the previous roster for the amateur and pro team shall be merged to compete in the upcoming Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) PH Season 12. Meanwhile, a new roster will be signed for the MDL PH Season 2, in collaboration with another esports organization.
Team Lunatix is a Malaysian esports organization that is currently competing in the MPL MY (Malaysia) Season 12. Its team previously finished fourth place in Season 11 and is looking to aim higher with a refined roster, adding two Myanmar veteran imports for the upcoming league season.
It will be interesting to see how the collaboration between Blacklist International and Team Lunatix spices up the competition in the upcoming MDL PH Season 2.
