When Can You Pre-load Starfield?

Bethesda’s upcoming space RPG has already got fans enlivened as the game has made huge claims in terms of gameplay features, such as having the possibility to explore a thousand different planets. The head of Microsoft Studios, Matt Booty has also promised fans that the game will possibly have the fewest bugs of any game released by the studio. The game is expected to be released on 6th September but players who have pre-purchased the game will be able to pre-load the game in order to jump into it right away on the launch date.

Starfield’s Pre-load Date and File Size

Bethesda’s Starfield will be available for pre-load starting today 9th August, for Xbox Series X / S. Considering the game’s massive open world and all of its featured planets, it comes as no surprise that the game has a file size of around 125GB.

Players who have pre-ordered the digital copy of the game or have an active Xbox Game Pass subscription can pre-download the game on their Xbox Series consoles. However, those who have purchased the physical version of Starfield must wait until the launch date.

Unfortunately, PC gamers who have pre-ordered the game on Steam currently have no option to pre-load the game on their systems. This might be subject to change considering the game is still a month away.
