Escape from Tarkov players have been extremely happy with these new balancing changes and the transparent communication from the developers at Battlestate Games. The update was met with incredible support from the community on social media.

On Twitter, one user wrote, “Reading this for the 5th time now and brain still struggling realizing this isn’t a dream. Huge W! Thank you for being more informative.

One Redditor questioned the changed backpack weights. “Is it just me of does it seem like all early game bags are now heavier and mid to late game bags lighter? Wouldn't you think it would be the other way around? Also am I reading it wrong but is the Trooper now 1kg?

Explaining this, a few users pointed out that the early game bags are likely made out of cheap, heavier materials, and a good bag is both light and durable. Another user said, “This is real life at work. Cheap things are made of cheap materials. More often than not, pricier items are made with lighter and more durable materials.
