Quinn Names The Only Two Players Who Can Remain Top Tier Without Playing Pubs

Quinn “Quinn” Callahan and Max "qojqva" Bröcker discuss the topic of playing pubs to be able to perform in competitive Dota 2 in a recent livestream, where the duo agreed that they would need to play several pub games every day in order to perform at higher levels of competition. Quinn also names Syed "SumaiL" Hassan and Michał "Nisha" Jankowski as the only two players who do not have to continuously play pub games to perform at the highest levels of Dota 2.

Quinn and qojqva Discuss the Role of Pub Games in Maintaining Performance Levels for Dota 2 Pros

Playing pub games is crucial for professional Dota 2 players as it provides them with the opportunity to hone their skills and try out new strategies in a competitive environment. Additionally, playing pubs helps players stay in touch with the ever-evolving meta and adapt to new changes quickly. Professional Dota 2 players are known to spend several hours every day playing pub games so they can continuously improve in the game.

In the stream, both Quinn and qojqva agree that they require several hours of pub games every day in order to perform well in the game. Additionally, Quinn thinks that only two players, specifically SumaiL and Nisha can get away with not playing pubs and still being able to perform well. “I think I would be an absolutely awful player. I think there’s only a few people that can get away with not playing pubs, and its like SumaiL and Nisha,” Quinn said.

This may not be very surprising, considering both SumaiL and Nisha are known for their exceptional skills and have achieved great success in the professional Dota 2 scene. However, their ability to perform at such a high level without regularly playing pub games is a testament to their innate talent and understanding of the game. Quinn and qojqva's discussion highlights the importance of consistent practice and dedication for professional Dota 2 players, as even the slightest lapse in skill or knowledge can have a significant impact on their performance in the competitive scene.
