SkRossi Talks About His '4K Rossi' Curse in Valorant

Global Esports might not have won a Valorant match on the international stage till now but their star player, Ganesh "SkRossi" Gangadhar, is probably having the time of his life.

The 25-year-old has been accepted and praised by the global community, making waves by becoming the first player from India to compete in the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) tournament, being a part of the event panel, and even participating in a showmatch.

However, the one thing which has gone absolutely viral following his performance at the VCT LOCK//IN is the '4K Rossi' curse. Well, during a recent interview that was a part of the VCL 2023: South Asia, SkRossi spoke about how this tag came into existence and his views about it.

SkRossi talks about the viral '4K Rossi' curse and how it came into existence

One of the top Valorant players from South Asia and probably the most famous, SkRossi, has been associated with the label '4K Rossi'. At first, this might seem like a joke against his inability to secure an ace successfully, always falling short by one frag, but the 'Indian Jett' does not seem to mind it.

"Like I said everyone knows that I only take four frags and never an ace," says SkRossi, going on to break down his quad kill against Team Vitality on Pearl, "In the map-winning round, I took four kills with some crisp headshots, so it became an iconic moment and everyone started spamming it making the clip go absolutely viral."

SkRossi regards this as a big moment in his life, proud of the way he delivered a map-winning round on an international stage.

"People start shouting when I secure a 4K but get disappointed if I convert it into an ace. 4K from me is what gets people excited," says SkRossi.

Adding to this discussion, Rushindra "Salbatic" Sinha - CEO of Global Esports, revealed that going into this tournament he had told SkRossi to at least secure a solid highlight moment and he came through in a heroic manner.

He will be next seen in action at the ongoing VCT 2023: Pacific League which is currently underway and fans are hoping to see him on the stage while going up against DRX on 3rd April, 14:30 IST onwards.
