“Can’t Trust Anyone at Estar Esports” - CortezZ

The current roster of Estar Esports has been playing under the organization’s banner for the past few months. The team qualified for the TEC Challenger Series 9: Group Stage through the South Asia (SA) Qualifiers, defeating multiple teams throughout its journey. Shubham “CortezZ” Chhatre, a professional Valorant player for Estar Esports, alleged that the owner of Estar Esports is trying to “pull out money and disappear.” Zeyan Shafiq, the owner of Stalwart Esports, also supported the statement by sharing a similar experience with the organization.

CortezZ says Estar Esports did not pay the players anything

In a recent Twitter thread, CortezZ said that Estar Esports did not pay them anything and did not fulfill any promise they made to the players. He further added that the motive of his tweet was to spread awareness about the organization and its owner.

“Organizations are so weird in India. They never paid us or did anything for the players. All the things were promised but never fulfilled. Can’t trust anyone at Estar Esports. Wanted to spread an awareness message as the owner is trying to pull out money and disappear.”

Following this, he said that he could not reveal everything, but it was a mess. He further said that the team will still play in the TEC Challenger Series, and they will stick if any organization acquires them, or they will disband.

“Can’t reveal everything in this tweet but it was a Sh**show. We are still going to play the TEC Challenger Series. And if we get an ORG by the event’s end we might stick or everyone goes their separate ways. Idk why Organizations in India are so unprofessional.”

Later, he wished good luck to his teammates and coach and revealed the names of the owners of Estar Esports.

“Sad that it had to end this way. Dk where this will take me/us now. GL everyone ZesBeeW, DominiK_0372, SSSami, micr0 and Coach EvoVLR. Name: Kedar Honrao and Jayant Warankar.”

Stalwart Esports owner shares his experience with the owner of Estar Esports

Zeyan Shafiq, the owner of Stalwart Esports, supported CortezZ’s statement and said that Kedar, one of the owners of Estar Esports, is a very old scammer and has been exposed multiple times in the past.

“Kedar is a very old scammer, I fail to understand how he is able to pull off scam after scam despite being exposed like 100 times in the past.”

Following this, he mentioned that Kedar also scammed him and his partner in Dubai for over INR 25 lakhs. He said Kedar bought 4-5 mobile devices, luxury apparel and jewelry for himself and his family using Zeyan’s and his partner’s cards and never paid them back. He added that he has scammed over 20 Free Fire creators by not paying them the promised amount from their streaming deal.

“Scammed me and my partner in dubai for over 25L, bought 4-5 devices for himself and his family including some luxury apparel & jewelry using our cards and never paid them back + Scammed around 20 Free Fire creators by not paying them the amount from their streaming deal,” said Zeyan.
