Global Esports concluded the second round of its female Valorant roster tryouts on 29th October which was livestreamed on the Global Esports Valorant YouTube channel. The third and final round of the tryouts is scheduled to take place today on 30th October. The top five will be shortlisted from the remaining twenty players and they will be a part of the Global Esports Female Valorant roster and will be offered a six-month contract. The players will also have access to the state-of-the-art facilities and an opportunity to compete at the highest level.
Global Esports Female Valorant Roster Tryouts
On 17th August, Global Esports announced open tryouts for all the female Valorant players who want to play Valorant professionally. The organization stated that the top five players in the tryouts will have the chance to be a part of the Global Esports female Valorant roster. Moreover, the players will also have access to the organization’s infrastructure and facilities.
On social media, Global Esports’ Vatsal “Nghtmre2k” Uniyal revealed that three players from Global Esports’ main Valorant roster, the coach, and two individuals from the management team, including him, shall judge the tryouts. All the players were divided into different groups (teams), and the groups went up against each other in 5v5 custom matches in a best-of-three series.

Following this, Nghtmre2k also revealed the criteria for selection. Judges are evaluating the players based on the following aspects of their gameplay: Aim, game knowledge, how they communicate with teammates, temperament in different situations, and overall skills. Additionally, players will have an edge if they can take up multiple roles in the team.
After the initial announcement, a total of 70 players applied for the tryouts. However, after careful evaluation in the first round that took place on 5th September, the organization advanced twenty players to the second round of the tryouts. As many as 50 players were eliminated by the Global Esports’ panel.

Before the start of the second round, Nghtmre2k asked Eraser what he thought about the tryouts. Eraser said that he was excited about it and praised all the players. He said, “I am really excited to do this. This is a really important thing for our future.” He added, “I am really interested. There are a lot of players that are really good. Their shots are really good, and their brain is so good, so I am really excited to watch them.”
