Enigma Gaming Qualifies for Valorant India Invitational

The first of the two India qualifiers for Valorant India Invitational has concluded with Enigma Gaming making its way through to the main event. The best-of-five grand final against Revenant Esports did not go the distance, closing out with a '3-1' scoreline for the series.

Enigma Gaming played a total of nine maps through the qualifier, winning seven of them and losing just two. It defeated Gods Reign and Velocity Gaming in the group stage, moving on to the grand finals to face off against Revenant Esports.

The first qualifier for Indian teams has concluded as Enigma Gaming makes its way through to the Valorant India Invitational, scheduled to take place in Hyderabad on LAN from 14th to 16th October with a total prize pool of $100,000 USD (INR 82,34,305).

Enigma as part of 'Group-B' started by defeating Gods Reign, winning consecutive maps, Ascent and Bind, with a clean '13-6' and '13-2' scoreline.

This was followed by the group stage finals where Enigma faced Velocity Gaming. It dropped the first game on Ascent (13-9) but came back fighting to nullify the deficit with a win on Pearl (13-4).

The decider on Icebox was closely contested and witnessed an epic comeback from Enigma, as it fought back from a '5-11' position to finish the map '13-11', winning eight rounds in a row.

Having made its way to the grand final, Enigma went up against Revenant Esports where the winner would qualify ahead to the Valorant India Invitational. The first two maps were quick as Enigma closed them out with '13-5' (Icebox) and '13-4' (Ascent) scoreline. Revenant did fight back on the third map Bind (13-4) but failed to ensure another win. Enigma then walked away with the fourth and final map Haven (13-5).

The second Indian qualifier will be taking place from 21st to 23rd October, giving another team from India a chance to qualify for the main event. A separate qualifier for the Southeast Asia region will take place from 28th to 30th October, the winner making its way to the main event.

These three qualified teams will be joined by five directly invited teams, all eight teams going against each other in an offline format from 18th to 20th November in Hyderabad, India.
