Team XO has established itself as one of the more stable Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) teams in the Indian esports scene with promising performances in multiple tournaments like Battlegrounds Mobile India Showdown 2022, Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021, and more. The organization had acquired Raj “Snax” Varma in February 2022 and ended up winning the Skyesports Grand Slam 2022 and the Upthrust Esports India Rising 2022. Shortly after that, in August 2022, Snax left the organization without any official announcement from the organization.
The team’s captain Deepak “SENSEI” Negi has finally revealed the reason behind Snax leaving Team XO.
SENSEI reveals that Snax left Team XO because he felt it was right for his future
SENSEI said that Snax is not in the team anymore, and it was his decision. He further mentioned that Snax has already given his reason for leaving the org in a livestream. He further stated that Snax and Team XO still have a good relationship.
SENSEI said, “Snax is not in the team anymore. He left the team. He has already revealed the reasons why he left the team in his livestream, and I agree. Everything is chilled between us, and we still have a good relationship.”
SENSEI further clarified that Snax did not leave the team because of any fights or misunderstandings; he left because he believed that leaving XO and looking for another team was right for his future. Furthermore, he also said that if players think something is right for them, they should do it.
“He did not leave because of any fights or misunderstanding. He did what he felt was right for his future. It is pointless to restrict someone,” said SENSEI. He added, “I tell players that if they think something is right for them, they should do it. He felt right leaving XO and looking for another team, so he did it.”
Snax reveals why he left Team XO in his livestream
In another livestream, Snax revealed his reasons for leaving Team XO. He stated that the team already had a better synergy as they had been playing for a long time, and Harsh “IMMORTAL” Shrivastava was a better support player for the team than him. Furthermore, he said that instead of being a fifth player for the team, he would try to be an assaulter for any other team.
Snax said, “The team had a better synergy with Immortal than me as they were playing together for a long time. Moreover, Immortal is a better support player than me. And I wasn’t able to be a good support player for Team XO.” He later added, “I wasn’t able to support my team as a supporter. So, I thought instead of being a fifth player for the team, I would try to be an assaulter for any other team.”
