The following are the international stars who will be performing at the Worlds 2022 opening ceremony at the Chase Center:
-
Lil Nas X

Jackson Wang
-
Louis Leibfried and Edda Hayes - 2WEI collective
Lil Nas X will perform Star Walkin and the ceremony will embody the “ONE & ONLY” experience that Riot Games has been pushing for this year. It added, “[Opening ceremony] will set a new bar for production, innovation, stagecraft, and sheer spectacle.”
Notably, Riot Games’ collaboration with Lil Nas X also features a specially-designed skin, the "Prestige Empyrean K'Sante" skin, which is scheduled to release on 3rd November and is unlockable until 14th November. This skin will not be available for direct purchase, but earnable through playing League of Legends or Teamfight Tactics games during the Worlds 2022 in-game event.
Jackson Wang is a prominent K-pop singer, rapper, dancer, record producer, fashion designer, and music video director. He is a part of the boyband called GOT7. There was speculation that the artist would be performing at the opening ceremony after he tweeted, “Why worship legends when you are one of them. #Worlds2022 #MAGICMAN,” on 25th October.
Commenting on this, the League of Legends official account asked, “What are you doing on November 5?”
However, Riot Games put its fans out of the misery of waiting and confirmed that the K-pop star would be performing on-stage on 5th November. It said in a release, “Singer and record producer Jackson Wang will perform the live global premiere of ‘Fire to the Fuse,’ a collaboration between Wang and Riot Games Music that serves as the theme song for the new “League of Legends” Empyrean skin line.”
At the start of the season, Riot Games released “The Call” as the cinematic for the year and it featured Louis Leibfried and Edda Hayes from the 2WEI collective. They will also be performing at the venue.
