Wild Rift EMEA Announces Female-Only Series for Wild Circuit 2022

The League of Legends: Wild Rift esports scene continues to expand with another female-only tournament titled Wild Circuit Game Changers. The tournament is now open for registration for teams within Europe, North Africa, and Turkey. It also boasts a massive prize pool of 25k EUR ($24.2k USD). The Wild Circuit Game Changers tournament will kick off with an open qualifier on 28th October. The grand finale for the esports event is also said to be held offline and will be managed by ESL (Electronic Sports League). This tournament is one of the promised events by Riot Games to keep fans and teams busy before the next official Wild Rift season kicks off next year.

How to register

Only teams from Europe, North Africa, and Turkey can participate in the event. Registrations will remain open until 23rd October at 11:59 PM (GMT+2).

Here are the registration links for the said regions;

Interested participants must meet the following requirements in order to qualify for the tournament;

  • Players must be female and verified by tournament officials

  • Players must be at least 16 years old

  • No minimum level (account in Wild Rift) required

  • Players must be legal residents of the region where they are playing

For the offline event, players agree that additional eligibility requirements will apply:

  • If you are eligible to participate in the offline event, it is your responsibility to meet all conditions that will allow you to travel and participate in the main event.

  • You must provide an official and valid ID or travel document (eg. passport, visa, etc.) that allows you to travel to the offline event.

  • You must be available for travel during the entire duration of the offline event and at least 1 day before and 1 day after the offline event.

Tournament Format

  • There will be one winner from the Europe and North Africa qualifier

  • There will be one winner from the Turkey qualifier

  • The two winners will compete in the grand finals which will be held offline by ESL in November 2022.

  • Qualifier in Group stage will be held in a Single Round Robin Bo3 series

  • Playoffs will be played in a Single Round Robin Bo3 series

Riot and Tournament Officials may adapt the format depending on the total number of confirmed teams.

Tournament Schedule:

  • Online Group Stage will be played on 29th October and on 30th October.

  • Online Playoffs will be played on 5th November and on 6th November.
