For John "Zico" Dizon, head coach of Burn x Flash, winning the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Professional League (MPL) Cambodia (KH) Autumn Autumn Split 2022 was a big accomplishment. However, the squad was only able to deploy one Filipino import during the entire season. Jhonwin "Hesa" Vergara was able to show off his skills in the Gold Lane during the tournament, but Michael "MP the King" Endino was left hanging in the Philippines (PH) due to travel complications. According to Zico, fans may be seeing the star jungler in action in the upcoming M4 World Championship which is scheduled to kick off on 1st January 2023.
MP The King may be playing on the international stage soon
Through a vlog posted on 7th October, Burn x Flash’s head coach Zico shared the struggles of him and Hesa during their first few days in Cambodia. He also mentioned why the team’s second Filipino import MP the King did not play in the tournament. According to him, it was due to travel restrictions.
“MP[The King] was not able to come because of his travel clearance. It was an issue due to him being a minor,” explained Zico.
He added that it won’t be a problem soon as “he [MP The King] will be 18 [years old] soon.”
Coach Zico also hinted that the star jungler may be joining Burn x Flash in its journey in the upcoming world series event.
“In M4, maybe he will be able to play,” the coach said.
MP The King was one of the amateur standouts of Nexplay EVOS during the MPL PH Season 9. Heavily influenced by Blacklist International’s sensational Jungler, Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario, MP The King impressed not only the fans but also various talents in the MLBB esports scene, including his idols.
The star jungler was released by Nexplay EVOS during its roster revamp for Season 10. MP the King was then acquired by Burn x Flash alongside Zico and Hesa. However, due to being underaged, the pro player was not able to travel to Cambodia and missed the MPL KH Autumn Split 2022. Despite this, he is still a member of the team and may be able to join the action in the M4 World Championship.
